Manufactures include textiles, iron, hardware, canned goods, and leather goods. Of note in Vejle is St. Nicholas Church (13th cent.; restored).

Vejle is a town in Denmark and the site of the council of both Vejle Municipality and Region Syddanmark, located in southeast of Jutland Peninsula. The city itself has a population of 50,654 and the Vejle Municipality has a population of 105,884. The municipality is also a part of the East Jutland metropolitan area with 1,2 million inhabitants. .
